Lisa Hymas is co-founder and senior editor of Grist.org, a leading environmental news and commentary Web site based in Seattle. She has also worked at Greenwire, an online environmental news service; Island Press, an environmental book publisher; Tomorrow, a sustainable business magazine; and ONE/Northwest, a nonprofit online capacity builder and networking service for environmental groups in the Pacific Northwest. Her writing has appeared in Salon and Mother Jones, among other publications.
