John Fyfe

Research Scientist, Canadian Centre for Climate Modeling and Analysis

John Fyfe is a senior research scientist for Environment Canada’s Canadian Center for Climate Modeling and Analysis. An internationally recognized researcher in the area of climate variability and climate change, he was a lead author of the 2007 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s Fourth Assessment Report and was an author of the Arctic Climate Impacts Assessment (2005) and the Canadian Arctic Contaminants Assessment (2003). He was recently appointed to the climate action team advising the British Columbia Cabinet on how to achieve legislated emissions reductions.
