Ed Bangs is the gray wolf recovery coordinator for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. After working as a federal game manager on the Kenai Refuge in Alaska for 13 years, he moved to Montana and led the reintroduction of wolves into Yellowstone National Park and central Idaho. He has published many papers and articles on his wildlife experiences and has given hundreds of presentations on a wide variety of wildlife management issues. He has also examined wolf/human relationships in Mongolia, Sweden, and Japan and is most interested in the intersection of wildlife management and human values.
