Bill Blakemore is a domestic and foreign correspondent for ABC News, where he has led the network’s reporting on global warming. He has also covered 12 wars and a wide variety of stories on politics, the arts, nature, and science, and he served as ABC's Vatican correspondent and Rome bureau chief. He was chief science correspondent for the ABC-Discovery Channel’s weekly science show, and he continues to cover a variety of science stories, focusing especially on intelligence and the brain and on conservation and the extinction crisis. His current interests include new discoveries about the mental health of refugees around the world.
